In recently years, unusual natural disasters have occurred frequently and caused great damage to people and property in Central region, many businesses do not have concrete plans for disaster prevention and response and have lost significant buildings and production equipment. Recently, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Asia Foundation (TAF), and the Center for Education and Development (CED) organized a disaster risk management (DRM) training course for 300 businesses in five Central provinces many disaster prevention initiatives in enterprises have been applied.
