The Lao PDR’s Strategic Plan on Disaster Risk Management is the foundation for the policy framework for Disaster Management. The main objective is to outline a strategic direction and vision and establish a coordinating framework for the National Disaster Management Plan. The Strategy plan sets goals from 2005-2020 and the implementation methods.
